A billionaire you might recognize was recently spotted leaving a hotel in Monaco at the wheel of one of the rarest Mercedes supercars in the world, the Mercedes-AMG ONE.
The ONE is one of the most expensive and most exclusive supercars ever produced.
Only 275 were made.
But, for a very good reason, this vehicle is perhaps not particularly special to the owner in question.

This billionaire, who most people will have recognized, was filmed leaving a hotel in Monaco in a Mercedes-AMG ONE, a hypercar worth seven figures.
It’s a special car but, ironically, maybe not that special in the eyes of this particular billionaire.
That’s because it’s Toto Wolff.
Wolff is Mercedes F1’s co-owner and team principal, a position he’s held since 2013.

This is one of the rarest supercars in the world, and so perhaps Wolff may have actually had to pay for it.
Or maybe not.
Either way, it means that, as crazy as it may sound, this still counts as a company car for Wolff.
Speaking of which, F1 driver George Russell also has one.

The ONE, originally called Concept ONE, is a highly sophisticated street-legal hypercar inspired by Formula One, it even has a variety of F1 features.
It uses a 1.6-liter V6 paired with two front-axle motors, an electric turbocharger, and another E-motor on top of that.
It produces 1,049HP in total, and it does 0-62MPH in 2.9 seconds and 0-186MPH in 15.6 seconds.

It was launched by the German automaker to showcase what they could do in Formula One and also to celebrate their F1 successes.
Between 2014 and 2021, Mercedes F1 won seven consecutive Drivers’ Championships and eight consecutive Constructors’ Championship, while also breaking a variety of records in the process.
The ONE was launched right at the peak of that era.
Lewis Hamilton also helped with the development of the car before leaving the team to join Ferrari.
Production is limited to 275 units, with an initial price of $2.72 million. But its market value can be higher than that, especially because those who own one aren’t selling it, and it’s rare to find one in the market.
