This Canadian man decided to make himself a DeLorean DMC-12… out of snow.

You might be wondering why that itself is newsworthy.

Well, the reason for that is because it was a little bit too convincing.

In fact, it was so convincing that the cops ended up giving the snow creation a ticket.

Canada man uses snow to craft an actual DeLorean DMC-12

Today’s story brings us to Montreal, Canada.

And it also brings us one of the funniest things you will see today.

Simon Laprise is the mastermind behind this incredible creation.

Being a Montreal native, Laprise – and others like him – tend to have access to a lot of snow.

But Laprise didn’t exactly have a snowball fight or decide to simply build a snowman.

Instead, he decided to build… a DeLorean DMC-12.

The Canadian is actually a machinist and cabinet maker.

But he likes to get creative in his free time.

Speaking to VICE, Laprise explained why he decided to build a DeLorean out of snow.

“It was a beautiful day,” Laprise told VICE.

“So I decided to do something out of the mountain of snow, to do a little joke to the snow guys, and have fun sculpting a car.”

“It’s not my first one, just the first I do in the street on snow removal day.”

“To me, snow is a great free material to sculpt anything out of.”

Cops see the funny side of Canada man’s creation

But what is incredible is how lifelike the creation is.

And the best part is that Laprise even found a spare windshield wiper to stick on the ‘car’.

But the build was so lifelike that it even fooled the police.

The actual flow of events is unknown.

But what we do know is that the first cop car was ultimately joined by a second one.

Whether they found it funny or whether they were fooled is unknown.

Laprise sadly did not get the chance to see the cops in person.

But he was left with a memento from his local law enforcement.

In fact, the cops left him a ticket that said, “You made our night.”

“I thought the ticket was hilarious,” said Laprise.

“But when I saw the cops’ pictures on the internet the next day, it was even better.”

This is definitely one of the best snow creations we’ve ever seen.
