Vaughn Gittin Jr. bought a rare McLaren Mustang – and it’s impressive
Vaughn Gittin Jr. is best known for being a champion drifter with a love of all things Ford Mustang.
So it comes as no surprise that he has managed to snap up a rare Mustang with ultra-rare features.
The motorsports star took fans on a tour of his new car online, and it was clear to see that he was impressed with his purchase.

He described the car as being 2.4 litres of turbo-charged goodness that was the closest he’d get to a Zakspeed car, and after exploring the auto, under the hood was a big surprise.
The usual grille that comes complete on a Mustang was even closed off to make the car extra aerodynamic, but the winning feature was the huge fan in the engine.
And, thanks to McLaren working its magic, the car is capable of producing a whopping 175 horsepower.

“Compared to the V8 of then, [it’s] not bad,” commented the driver.
The inside of the car sure does look the part, too, with hood pins, Recaro seats, and even a special lever to flash the lights ahead.
Plus, we can’t forget the iconic shape and shiny black shell – the car really does look like a force to be reckoned with.

When looking to the future, Vaughn Gittin Jr. noted that he wasn’t actually going to do anything to the rare McLaren Mustang either, and instead just check out the mechanics.
The Mustang is an iconic car in the auto world
The Ford Mustang’s big debut came in April 1964 and was officially unveiled at the New York World’s Fair, with the base model of the car coming in at $2,368, which Ford said made it accessible to lots of drivers.
And, since its debut, it has gone from strength to strength, with car lovers loving the vehicle.
For example, NBA star Jayson Tatum even owns a clean, vintage, custom Ford Mustang.
And, he isn’t the only celebrity with a love for the car either. Sonny and Cher had matching Mustangs, and the cars stayed together after they divorced.
One thing is for sure, though: Vaughn’s rare McLaren Mustang is one of the coolest we’ve ever seen.
