Chinese vacuum cleaner company Dreame has teased its upcoming electric hypercar for the third time, and this time there’s a clear difference we spotted.
According to Dreame, this’ll be the fastest car in the world.
The company made the announcement a few months ago, then teased the first images weeks later, and now we’ve got these new pictures.
Something definitely stands out.

Dreame wants to do what Dyson couldn’t
Dreame said the idea is to build the fastest car in the world, and the Chinese vacuum cleaner company is putting its money where its mouth is by recruiting hundreds of engineers to work on this project.
The hypercar should be ready in 2027, although to be fair, they haven’t made it clear yet whether it will be released globally or remain exclusive to the Chinese market
It’ll have 1,000 horsepower, and it’ll be capable of reaching 60MPH in around 1.8 seconds.
If everything goes well, Dreame will have succeeded where Dyson failed.

Dyson, another vacuum cleaner company, spent a fortune on an electric car that never saw the light of day.
The company eventually scrapped the project because it was costing way too much money but it wasn’t really going anywhere.
For the same reason, Apple canceled the Apple car because both Apple and Dyson realized it was never going to be profitable.

Dreame thinks the same tech and patents they use for their vacuums could actually work for cars, too.
And they have a point.
Modern cars have a lot more in common with home appliances than with a car from 50 years ago, and the electric motor you need to power a car is remarkably similar (with due proportions, of course) to the small electric motors that power smart robot vacuum cleaners.
That’s why tech companies are joining the party and building cars, from Huawei to Xiaomi, and even Sony.
Are you seeing what we’re seeing?
When it was first teased, back in September, the Dreame EV looked shockingly similar to the Bugatti Chiron and the Bugatti Brouillard.
It was a bit longer, and it had four doors, but other than that, it was exactly like a Chiron.
Now, with these new pictures, this hypercar looks slightly different.
A little more original and thought out.

Maybe they realized the original render images made it look way too similar to a Bugatti and decided to do something about it.
For now, it doesn’t really matter because these are just render images, not real photographs.
But we’ll presumably find out soon enough.
