A designer recently unveiled a new, 328ft luxury superyacht/gigayacht concept that has enough space for a helipad, two jacuzzis, and 10 guest cabins.
This remarkable vessel was designed by Spanish designer Jay Aberdoni, and his design pays homage to what many feel is the golden age of yachting of the 1940s.
But while it has a retro feel to it, the yacht also has a contemporary twist to bring it up to today’s standards with a modern feel.
The stunning, streamlined vessel also has plenty of room and enough deck space to include a helipad.

This gigayacht concept has 1940s design cues
Many consider the golden age of yachting to be the 1940s and 1930s.
The luxury vessel, named Ixian, has taken design cues from the 1940s to create its streamlined look.
These are the streamlined and sweeping curves that the gigayacht boasts.

It also has horizontal lines, and concentric circles help to punctuate the design and silhouette.
Those circles also help to create the owner’s suite, which also has a wall of glass for panoramic views.
Little features like this give the retro design a hint of the 21st century.
While it is only a concept for now, it’s a very appealing one.
The yacht’s interior is just as impressive
But just as impressive as the exterior, though, is the interior of the Ixian.
While packed with luxury, it’s more understated than you might have expected.
The interior features brown and beige, with clean lines and some minimalist furnishings.
It also has patterned wood walls and stone floors.
There is enough room inside to comfortably fit 10 guest cabins, as well as two very sizable jacuzzis.

But the yacht prioritizes amenities and entertainment space over a larger quantity of sleeping space.
Despite its modesty, the yacht has a large salon on the main deck and a massive beach club on the lower deck.
Completing the interior are the lounge areas and terraces, plus the helipad and jacuzzis.
The retro design and more modest furnishings create quite an interesting superyacht.
Yet it could be one of the prettiest on the water if it does become a reality and doesn’t stay a concept.
