A detailer on YouTube was stunned by the state of a Dodge Durango SUV, but he was still able to transform this from one of the nastiest cars he’d seen to something the owner was stunned by.

Detailer The Detail Geek had a challenge on his hands: a 2020 Dodge Durango, and while the outside was dirty, the inside was where the real misery lay.

The interior of the Dodge SUV was a mess, with all sorts of dirt, rubbish, and muck filling it.

Incredibly, this unpleasant SUV was transformed into something the owner could happily drive.

Has this Dodge Durango ever been cleaned?

The owner of the car speculated whether or not it had ever been cleaned.

Outwardly, it was a mess, with dirt and grime all over the bodywork and wheels.

This part of the detailing, however, was by far the easiest.

Even a simple wash with water got rid of a lot of the dirt that had been caked onto the SUV.

The detailer gave the Durango a proper soapy wash and clean, transforming the bodywork.

At the end of the wash, the Durango looked brand new from the outside.

But inside, it was a whole different story, and it became a nightmare.

The interior was so bad that the YouTuber even found maggots crawling around inside.

This was the nastiest detailing you will ever see

As well as actual lifeforms, there was food debris, junk, and more just sitting inside the Dodge.

As car lovers, it is probably unimaginable that many of us could let our car get into this state.

The YouTuber also had to fight with an awkwardly designed SUV just to get things out to make it easier to clean.

Despite the truly unimaginable state of this car, he worked through it to transform it.

Special carpet cleaners were used to really get as much of the filth out as possible.

Even the seats needed a thorough deep clean.

Come the end of the video, and this Dodge looks completely different from when it came in.

It’s clean, fresh, and looks like a car you would want to drive.

The owner could not believe how much better it was.

Hopefully, it won’t get into a state like this again!
