Eddie Hall bought a mystery container for $16,815, and the car he found inside ended up saving the day.

Hall, known as the World’s Strongest Man, is now buying up storage containers at auctions.

His recent $16,815 purchase was delivered to him in a car park near his home town of Stoke-on-Trent in England.

This crate belonged to a jeweler, so Hall had his fingers crossed that he’d find something valuable inside.

Eddie Hall took a gamble on $16,815 mystery container

As you might expect from the World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall embodies the ‘Go big or go home’ motto.

After all, this is the guy who took a tank to a McDonald’s drive-thru.

So when he decided to start buying containers and flipping the contents, he went all in.

Inside the container was two safes, which both had valuable items stored inside – 12 golden sovereigns in one, and a diamond ring in the other.

But that was nothing compared to what was lurking at the back of the container – a Bentley.

It’d been in storage for 10 years, but was looking pretty good on the whole.

Initially, it wouldn’t start up, but soon roared to life after they grabbed a booster pack for the battery.

This car would have been worth around $53k – a very healthy profit figure for the $16k spent on the container.

Taking a risk can often pay off quite handsomely

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen somebody take a risk on a storage container and it paying off.

One guy opened up an abandoned container and found a dusty Ford F-250 truck inside that had been stowed away for 20 years.

For one woman, it was a Nissan that she came across, whilst another found a Chevrolet.
