Two years ago, someone paid three-quarters of a million dollars for a Ferrari. Today, that same car is sitting on a dealer’s lot for $420,000.

It’s only got 5,000 miles on the odometer, still gleaming like it just rolled out of Maranello.

And yet, in just 24 months, it’s dropped more than $300,000 in value.

In an Instagram video, dealer George Saliba from J&S AutoHaus walks viewers around the car, pointing out some of its weird and wonderful features.

From $755k hype to a $420k Ferrari opportunity

The car is a 2021 Ferrari with a $610,000 MSRP that someone bought at auction for $755,000 during the height of the market boom.

Now it’s listed for $419,999.

People in the comments identified the car as a Ferrari SF90.

A plug-in hybrid that mixes a gas engine with electric motors.

When it first came out, it was Ferrari’s big step into the future.

Some owners said they lost money when they sold theirs, but others think the new, lower price makes it a smart buy.

And it still has crazy power.

Almost 1,000hp from its twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors.

That means it can out-accelerate nearly anything on the road.

And now that the price has dropped, it’s gone from a millionaire’s toy to one of the coolest performance cars regular buyers could dream of owning.

The $5,000 ‘weird’ racing seat lifter

One of the coolest features on this car, as the dealer points out, is something called a racing seat lifter.

It’s a small switch that lets you move the seat up or down.

Kind of like an office chair, but for a supercar – a real Ferrari option that costs $5,000.

Over the top?

Maybe.

Saliba’s team went as far as to call it one of the manufacturer’s ‘weirdest’ options.

But that’s Ferrari – they turn even a seat switch into theatre.

Two years ago, this Ferrari was a $755,000 statement.

Now it’s a $420,000 opportunity to own something rare and ridiculous in all the right ways.

From its power to its seat lifter, it’s pure Ferrari magic – dramatic, detailed, and built to be talked about.
