Florida deputies are now rolling in undercover Dodge Hellcats to keep speeders in check.
Forget the usual Chargers or Explorers – this cop car hides in plain sight, looking like a civilian muscle car until the strobes fire up.
Clips posted to Instagram show the white Hellcat blasting past traffic with lights flashing.
One second it’s anonymous, the next it’s on your bumper with 700 horses ready to ruin your day.

The Dodge Hellcat cop car in disguise
The video, shared by @tampaacars, strings together clips of the undercover Hellcat in action, hammering down the road with lights flashing.
At first glance, it’s just another white coupe.
Then the red-and-blues flip on, and suddenly it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Reactions in the comments ranged from laughter to disbelief.

One person joked the deputy should probably ticket himself for speeding.
Another guessed the cop behind the wheel was ‘having a blast’ driving it. Because let’s face it – who wouldn’t be?
And plenty of people pointed out the obvious – there’s no point even trying to run from this thing.
And that’s the whole point of it.
The Dodge Hellcat packs north of 700 horsepower, which is more than enough to run down just about anything short of a hypercar.

Normally, American police departments stick with practical units like the Dodge Charger Pursuit or Ford Explorers.
Seeing a Hellcat on patrol is rare. It’s a car more at home smoking tires than pulling over reckless Camaros.
But that’s exactly why it works.
When it comes to being undercover, the more unexpected the better.
Police cars don’t always play by the rules
Florida isn’t the first place to roll out muscle cop cars, and it won’t be the last.
Around the world, law enforcement agencies have been flexing with machines that could humble most other cars on the road.
From Lamborghini Huracans and hoverbikes to Bugattis and even F1-inspired rockets, some police fleets look more like dream garages than government motor pools.
In Japan, police had to step up when Tokyo’s street racers pushed the limits, rolling out GT-Rs and other supercars just to keep pace.

And then there’s Dubai, where police unveiled the W Motors Ghiath – a futuristic SUV that looks like it drove straight out of a sci-fi set.
So while Florida’s Hellcat might surprise you today, it’s part of a global trend.
Proving that in today’s day and age, when cops want to send a message they do it with horsepower.
