Amid rumors of a brand-new concept in the Apple products lineup for 2026, a YouTuber has claimed the foldable iPhone is coming very, very soon.

Slated to be named the apt ‘iPhone Fold’, Apple looks to be moving in the direction of the Samsung Galaxy range in 2026.

Covering all bases of the tech and mobile phone markets, the new iPhone has been rumored for some time, and now, it looks like the company is ready to pull the trigger.

According to YouTuber Jon Prosser, the foldable iPhone is coming in 2026, and he’s already shared some rumoured specs.

Leaker claims foldable iPhone is coming in 2026

This year marked a massive milestone for Apple, as it released its biggest upgrades to the iPhone models in five years.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air succeeded in making significant improvements across the board and have been a massive hit with tech gurus.

But 2026 is set to be an equally monumental year for the brand, launching over 20 new products.

One of them is said to be a foldable iPhone.

Having first been reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, and later confirmed to be in development by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone Fold leaker Jon Prosser claims it’s almost ready for release.

Taking to his YouTube channel ‘fpt.’, Prosser said the foldable iPhone will be one of three flagship Apple products in 2026, joining the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.

According to the YouTuber, the device will feature four cameras, remove Face ID for Touch ID again, be 4.5mm in thickness (9mm folded), and feature a specially crafted liquid glass bar to subvert the biggest gripe with foldable phones.

What could the iPhone Fold look like?

The leaker suggests that the phone will look similar in design to many other iPhones, just with one flat edge, rather than four rounded corners.

Then, to negate the major grievance of foldable phones – the middle vertical crease – a special metal plate and liquid metal hinge make the screen flat and uninterrupted.

The YouTuber expects the phone to be one of the most expensive Apple products ever, priced at around $2,000, and will be released in ‘fall’.

Amid new competitors to the market, this could be a stroke of genius from the company.
