Jimmy Fallon was given a ride in a Ford F-150 Lightning and was left a sweet surprise in the back from Ford CEO, Jim Farley.
The Tonight Show host is the proud owner of an F-150 truck – the ideal vehicle for his family of four.
And it seems his love of the F-150 made it back to Farley who took Fallon out on the track for a spin in the F-150 Lighting.
But Farley made a cute addition to the vehicle to make it feel more like Fallon’s own vehicle.

Ford CEO Jim Farley put a surprise in the back of the F-150 Lightning
In a clip shared to X by Farley, he can be seen introducing Fallon to the ‘America’s best selling electric pick-up’ that is ‘totally out of control popular’.
And he’s not wrong – the EV is a wildly popular option in the US, although the Tesla Cybertruck is now snapping at its heels.
The Ford CEO proudly announced that he had placed a popcorn maker in the bed of the F-150 Lightning – which is said to be powerful enough to power a house for 10 days.
“So, we thought for you – we’d put a popcorn machine in the back,” Farley announced, much to Fallon’s delight.
But why a popcorn maker? Well, it turns out that father-of-two Fallon took ownership of his F-150 and was struck by how much space it had, joking that the vehicle was bigger than his first apartment.
The truck was a big hit with Fallon
Now, often with F-150s, owners will use the bed to store their tools – but as Fallon isn’t a tool sort of guy, he decided to have a popcorn machine installed into the back.
And the popcorn machine isn’t the only thing that Fallon is impressed with – as soon as he spotted the leather seats of the F-150 Lightings cabin he told Farley that he’d ‘crushed the game with this one’.
Fallon was clearly chuffed to be behind the wheel and took the car up to 145km/h (90mph) around the track – a little less than the F-150 Lightning’s top speed of 177km/h (110mph).
After their spin around the track, the two men jumped out, upon which Fallon had one last favor to ask Farley.
“Would you tell my wife that I was very adventurous and sportsman-like?”
