Ford has set SEMA 2025 in Las Vegas, US, on fire with the Maverick 300T and a 900hp Raptor R.

The iconic American brand brought a pair of souped-up trucks to the show.

Its Maverick 300T embraces the spirit of street-truck culture.

But the 900hp Raptor provides is said to be the ‘next evolution of off-road dominance’.

Ford turns heads at SEMA show

It takes quite a bit of effort to blow away the masses at the annual SEMA show.

And yet, Ford has managed to achieve just that this year at the event, which spans from today until November 7.

Achieving such a feat requires some serious firepower.

But the Blue Oval marque brought more than enough artillery to back that up.

It did so with a pair of incredible trucks that it brought to the party.

The first of the two offerings was the Ford Maverick 300T.

And just by reading the name, you can probably guess what’s coming.

An upgraded turbocharger borrowed from the Mustang EcoBoost provides some extra firepower.

It means that the Maverick’s 2.0-liter motor now produces 300hp, as well as 317lb-ft of torque.

In case you were doing the math, that’s 50 more horsepower than the standard offering.

Ford recommends you order the optional tow package (item 4K) if you want this upgrade, as it comes with drivetrain upgrades and additional cooling to handle the extra power.

The new Maverick 300T comes with a larger intercooler from Mishimoto.

And performance tuning is provided by Ford Performance’s ProCal system.

F-150 Raptor R gets ultimate boost

So, we’ve covered this souped-up street truck – but what about the second offering?

Well, to quote Anakin Skywalker: “This is where the fun begins.”

Alongside the Maverick 300T, Ford decided to bring along an F-150 Raptor R.

But this Raptor R has been so comprehensively supercharged, it might turn into something else entirely.

The example brought along to SEMA represents a package that the brand could offer in the future.

And, based on the numbers, we certainly hope it does.

At the beating heart of this monster is an absolutely wicked Whipple supercharger.

This monstrous supercharger from Whipple displaces a full 3.0 liters.

It provides the ultimate steroid boost to the 5.2-liter V8 – to the tune of 900hp.

You probably already know that the stock Raptor R wasn’t exactly lacking in punch.

But this F-150 Raptor R could just break through walls.
