This Ford salesman went through a dealership’s paperwork to highlight the hidden fees you didn’t even know you were paying for.
TikToker Geebo4, a salesman with Long-Lewis Auto Group, used paperwork from a rival dealership to make his point.
He drew a direct comparison between two 2025 Ford Explorers, one sold at his dealership and one sold at a competitors.
And let’s just say, the difference was stark.

Two 2025 Ford Explorers, two dealerships – and two very different prices
Declining to name the competing dealership, the salesman went line by line through the two bills.
The difference became apparent once he reached the end, where the competitor had added on a bunch of extra fees.
Over at the competitor’s, the Explorer had a market value of $47,500, which dropped down to $44,500 with a discount.
But then the extra charges kicked in.

A $699 ‘doc fee’ and a $190.88 electronic filing fee, alongside taxes, bumped the price back up to $48,166.82.
That’s got to sting.
How did Geebo4’s dealership compare?
At first glance, his dealership’s price might appear higher with a starting price of $48,475 and a smaller discount of $2,843.
But there was more to factor in.

“No doc fee or electronic filing fee,” he said.
“Never dealer markups.”
It ended up being $47,062.46, cheaper than the competitor’s car.
It just goes to show – you should always read the fine print.
