A former Ford chief engineer and his colleagues are getting set to build a new, revolutionary $2 million hypercar, unlike anything that has ever existed before – thanks to all-wheel drive.

Jamal Hameedi, a former global performance vehicle chief engineer at Ford, is working alongside Dr. Andreas Baenziger and Maximilian Szwaj to create the new performance vehicle.

However, unlike other hypercars, the sole focus of this one won’t be to simply be the fastest car on the planet.

Instead, the team behind it wants to make it all-wheel drive, which would make it the first of its kind ever made.

The team hired by the former Ford engineer

Former Ford engineer Hameedi has set up a new startup company called Hameedi Venturo.

This is the name under which the new hypercar will fall, with the car expected to cost at least $2 million.

The men that Hameedi has hired to help him have also had success of their own.

Dr. Baenziger is the owner of R-Unviverse and AF Racing Group and is a very influential automotive figure.

Szwaj is a German vehicle engineer and an independent automotive consultant.

He has worked on projects such as the Aston Martin Valhalla, Lotus Eletre, and the Ferrari LaFerrari hypercar, and also held management positions with Porsche and BMW.

So he knows a thing or two about a successful company.

But what, exactly, do they want to achieve?

A brand new all-terrain hypercar

Their ultimate aim is to create a hypercar with all-wheel drive that can go on any terrain.

Beyond that, Hameedi Venturo is a company keeping its cards close to its chest.

There’s no detail about the car, what will power it, or even what it will look like.

A simple teaser image on its website shows various road surfaces, clearly stating the company’s ambitions.

But it’s expected to be produced in limited numbers, released in 2026, and cost at least $2 million.

Don’t be surprised to find a car with at least 1,500hp under the hood, and possibly hybrid power.

Similar models, such as the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato and Porsche 911 Dakar, already exist.

But these are not hypercars, and this new machine should eclipse them in several ways.

Hopefully, more details will become available as 2026 progresses.
