The Lamborghini Revuelto is one of the most powerful cars money can buy, but with huge power comes a huge gas bill.

One driver decided to run his Revuelto right down to almost no miles before stopping to fill up the huge beast.

However, with 12 cylinders to power and a mighty roar that erupts when the accelerator is hit, there is more than a few gallons of gas needed.

So, armed with his sports car and his wallet, the creator headed to the gas station, and what he discovered may shock you.

The Lamborghini Revuelto – here’s why it’s so special

Released in time for the 60th anniversary of the marque, the Revuelto was unveiled as the very first High Performance Electrified Vehicle that also doubled up as a sports car.

The 12-cylinder engine is propelled forward by three electric motors and assisted by the dual clutch e-gearbox, meaning it takes to the road with determination.

With the ability to reach 0-100kmh in 2.5 seconds and a power output of a huge 747 kw, it is a serious force to be reckoned with.

However, getting it started requires gas as well as an electrical output, and as you can imagine, a full tank is far from a small expense.

This Revuelto owner had a dent in his bank account

Filling up a super sports car is never going to be cheap, but filling the Lamborghini Revuelto up takes it to a whole new level.

Creator and entrepreneur seanysgarage shared how he let his almost run to empty and drove using just the electrical elements to show the true price of a full tank, and it may shock you.

“244 miles for £95, realistically, when you’re driving this car, you’ll probably get half of that, maybe a little more depending on how conservative you’re being,” he explained.

So, in US Dollars, that is around $130.

“You don’t have a car like this and drive it conservatively,” he said.

So, taking the above into account, the creator guesses that you would get around 150 miles for $130.

Considering the ticket price of the Revuelto is estimated to be around $609,000, it’s really no big surprise.

After revealing the price, some gearheads were left shocked.

“If I could afford one, would definitely buy one. Damn that fuel costs are crazy,” commented one car fan.

“Bigger the bills, bigger the thrills!” added another.

“Worth every penny to drive something so beautiful,” said a third user.

Did the price shock you?

It certainly makes our daily drivers look like a tiny expense.
