When you think of a superyacht owned by Dubai’s Crown Prince, you probably imagine marble bathrooms, helicopter landings, and a level of luxury that feels almost unreal, especially with a $180 million price tag.

But the Crown Prince of Dubai has taken things one step further.

His $180 million floating palace, Quattroelle, comes with a gym designed by none other than the speediest Olympic icon, Usain Bolt.

And over New Year, we spotted the monster yacht spending time chilling out in the port of Cartagena in Spain.

Behind the scenes of the Crown Prince of Dubai’s $180M superyacht

Quattroelle is a 282-foot custom-built superyacht delivered by German shipyard Lürssen in 2013.

Built for long-range cruising, Lürssen says the yacht is designed to need fewer port stops than most vessels of its size during extended voyages.

The yacht allegedly belongs to Dubai’s Crown Prince and Minister of Defence of the UAE, Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, also known as Fazza, and it is easy to see why; everything about the yacht feels deliberately premium.

The yacht’s name is Italian for ‘four Ls,’ representing Love, Life, Liberty, and Luxury.

It also made waves in the yachting world for being the first Lürssen yacht designed by the Italian studio Nuvolari Lenard.

Quattroelle looks sharp from every angle, with a snazzy and streamlined profile that feels more like a supercar on water than a traditional yacht.

Step inside, and it is a full-on luxury cocoon, filled with custom finishes and rich materials.

There is even a private owner’s deck, several lounge spaces for entertaining, and room for 12 guests across six seriously plush cabins.

The sports-lover has a gym designed by Usain Bolt

The showpiece and the crown jewel in this palace of the seas is the onboard gym, which is reported to have been created with input from nine other than sprinting icon Usain Bolt.

The Sheikh is known for being a sports lover, so this guaranteed that Quatroelle is more than just a luxury superyacht; it’s a love letter to his hobbies.

The amenities list reads like a luxury hotel brochure, think helipad, multiple pools, cinema, spa facilities, and a serious collection of water toys.

Running costs are estimated at $18 to $20 million per year, which is basically the yacht equivalent of a small country’s budget.

And now it’s turning heads in Europe too – when we spotted Quattroelle parked in the port of Cartagena in Spain over New Year, it looked every bit the $180 million icon it was built to be.
