One man from Iowa has been storing the ‘holy grail’ of Ford muscle car royalty in his garage, including not one, but four, Shelby GT500KR relics.
As far as barn finds and locked-away vehicles go, there might be the odd gem in each collection.
But rarely do you find an entire fleet of beautiful artifacts stuck in time.
This Iowa collection is a rare phenomenon, storing four Ford Shelby GT500KR cars among other muscle car gold.

The Shelby range is one of the most iconic American car lines, having been loved in the States for the best part of 60 years.
Six decades later, and Ford is still jumping on the Shelby bandwagon, showcasing some of its finest work inside of these iconic vehicles.
The range is so adored that many people hold on to the cars, even when they are no longer their daily drivers.
Of course, that means there are a ton of Fords out there ready to be uncovered – and lo and behold, they are often the crowning jewel in barn finds.
Not this time, though, as the entire collection owned by one Iowa man is wearing the Ford logo. And the Shelby GT500KR led the way.

Highlighted by IowaClassicCars on YouTube, the barn find kicked off with a royal blue Shelby GT500KR with a 428 Cobra Jet engine from 1968.
Bumper-to-bumper was another King of the Road, re-painted in red with a convertible roof.
Both of the cars shrouded a 1970 Boss 302 in the back, which sported the Bumblebee colors of yellow body and black racing stripes.
All three of these impressive artefacts set the barn find off in good form, proving to be in great condition, just with a slim, dusty jumper on.

But the fun didn’t stop there. And just like this other Ford-heavy barn find, there was another bunker with more treasure.
Over in the second barn were nine more muscle car bodies, cloaked under sheets. Protruding from one was another Shelby GT500KR, and another Mustang.
The owner’s first car, a 1973 Mach 1, was joined by a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang, a 1971 Boss 351, a 1965 Mustang Fastback, and a Galaxie XL.
The entire barn find was in great condition, and a small fortune would await the owner if he decided to sell up.
