Jeep is one of America’s most well-known and respected SUV brands.

The American firm, owned by Chrysler since 1987, is part of the Stellantis group.

Jeep’s 2025 has not got off to a great start, but they’ve got a plan for that.

The brand has turned to seven new concepts to turn its fortunes around.

Jeep – Pride of American SUV market

The Jeep brand has a truly historic and remarkable origin story.

The brand itself was born from the Willys-Overland Company – the firm that built one of the most iconic vehicles ever.

When it became clear that the United States was going to enter World War II, the military needed help.

They put out a tender to any company that could create a mobile, 4×4 vehicle that could tackle any terrain.

Willys-Overland stepped up and helped produce these iconic vehicles in their thousands.

In fact, alongside Ford, it is estimated that the firm produced around 640,000 jeeps for the war effort.

This accounted for around 18 percent of all the wheeled vehicles built by the military during World War II.

Following the war, the Jeep brand underwent a bit of a turbulent history.

1970 saw the American Motor Corporation (AMC) take over Jeep operations from Kaiser Motors.

The 1980s saw Jeep start to get some traction in tackling the American SUV market.

Jeep’s now-iconic Cherokee was introduced in 1984, and provided a massive boost to the brand.

Additional models, such as the Wrangler, saw Jeep become a household name.

SUV marque unveils seven new concepts to regain momentum

As we mentioned at the outset, Jeep has not enjoyed the best 2025 so far.

In fact, the company’s sales have stalled, not unlike a few American companies.

That being said, Jeep has one ace up their sleeve – and they have just revealed it.

Every year, the brand hosts an event called the Easter Jeep Safari.

Hosted in Moab, Utah, it’s essentially like Woodstock for Jeep fanatics everywhere.

And the brand has decided to play the vintage card in order to revive 2025.

Convoy, Bug Out and Honcho lead the way

First up is the military-influenced Jeep Convoy, based on the Gladiator.

Highlights include a Ghost Ops matte paint job, as well as a 12,000lb winch and 17-inch wheels.

Next up is the Bug Out 4xe, which is based on the plug-in hybrid Wrangler.

It is stripped down, comes with two doors, and has been extended 12 inches and turned into a truck.

The third offering from Jeep is the very cool J6 Honcho concept.

The scrambler-style truck has several retro colors to choose from, as well as steel fender flares.

Remainder of Jeep range is as varied as it is unique

Bringing up the remainder of Jeep’s range is an eclectic collection of offerings.

For one, there is the Rewind Concept, which comes with an 80s/90s purple jazz pattern finish.

Then there is the Wrangler 4×4 Rubicon Sunchaser, which comes in a cool yellow/black finish.

This concept aims to fill the gap of coming equipped for a full day of outdoor activities.

Lastly, there is another Wrangler – called the 4xe Blueprint.

The one thing we can say about this one is that you will certainly stand out – because there’s a lot blue.

Jeep will be hoping that its pilgrimage to Moab, Utah fixes the fortunes of the firm for 2025 and beyond.
