Actor Joe Rogan is a proud car fan – and this Chevy Nova is testament to that.
He owns a respectable 1969 Chevy Nova and – upon first glance – you’d think the car was always that slick.
But on further inspection, you’ll notice that the car has been heavily modified to look this way.
It includes parts from other Chevrolet specials too.

Joe Rogan is a man of many talents – though he can sometimes be divisive – from podcasting to acting, even UFC commentating, he’s got a few strings to his bow.
But he also has another big love of his life… cars.
He recently bought a Tesla Model S Plaid, which was modified by Unplugged Performance, a Texas tuner that only works on Teslas.
Plus, his auto collection is one of the most unique in the world and it features this bizarre one-of-a-kind Chevrolet.
Why is it one-of-a-kind you might ask?
Well, it has been heavily modded, even though it looks like a cult classic.
Rogan’s includes a mix of Chevy model features

The guys over at Autopia LA have given an in-depth look at his ’69 Chevy Nova all guided by Steve Strope from Pure Vision Design – who worked on the unique classic
Whilst the car was being modded, Steve joked that Joe had ‘been very patient’, whilst waiting for his masterpiece to be streamlined.
When the Nova first appears it looks simple and sleek – but just wait until you see the modifications it has actually received.
As well as fine-tuning what was under the hood – the exterior has undergone a massive transformation with ‘thousands of hours in metalwork alone.’
In fact, the body of the Chevy includes borrowed parts from a Camaro and Firebird – proving it really is a triple Chevy threat – with even the door skin having to be changed, plus Camaro fenders and quarter panels.
What about under the hood of the Nova?
Under the suave silver hood is a supercharged LT4 ‘small block’ V8 engine, and parts have even been painted orange – plus the addition of ‘factory stainless exhaust manifolds’.
Inside the car is where the magic happens

The dash is perhaps the most significant change of all.
It obviously did not come with the car, but it certainly adds an extra wow factor, as it was split and widened from a 1965 Corvair Corsa.
It also has a sat-nav and Apple CarPlay plus Speed Hut gauges bringing it firmly in the 21st century.
Potentially the most incredible mod is the Fender Telecaster guitar knobs that control the windows and audio.
Although impressive, we’ve only barely scratched the surface with this unique mod.
Take a look below at the tour in action, as well as catching the car on the road.
