This Corvette barn find may top our list of the most unique yet, but don’t just take our word for it.

Located in Kansas City, the Chevy was sourced from a neighbor, and it has been carefully restored, ready for its next owner to take charge.

With a rebuilt engine that now has just over 2,000 miles on it after being dismantled and washed, and a rare paint color, the car is sure to be ideal for a collector to add to their garage.

It’s no ordinary find, though, with a hidden feature that will make gearheads gasp in awe.

This rare Corvette came back better than ever

When it comes to barn finds, some people manage to hit the jackpot.

From iconic muscle cars to old supercars, many gearheads go in search of greatness all over the world.

But, this may be the find of the century.

The car in question is a 1972 Corvette, and it turns out that there is a rather wholesome story behind the listing on eBay.

“I found this beauty right down the street from a neighbor named Dave. It had been sitting untouched in his garage for 28 years – never driven, just stored away.

“I got lucky, and he let me buy it,” the seller explained in the listing.

The seller went on to explain that he restored it ‘carefully’ and that the engine ‘runs and purrs like a kitten’.

“The goal was to preserve authenticity, not over-restore. Even the paint was left intact, along with its vintage stickers dating back to 1982,” continued the listing.

However, the rust-free car also comes with an added bonus, too.

Alongside features including the 350ci V8 engine, there are other rare items too.

They include an original car manual, GM car jack, original gas cap, and original emergency reflector kit.

The winning factor, though, may be the exterior color.

Elkhart Green was a rare paint color that only a select number of vehicles were ever coated in, with the seller suggesting that ‘they only made 1,969’. However, other sources say differently..

Inside the car is in great condition too, along with original seats and a clean title – proving it sure is the real deal.

The car is currently up for auction with an asking price of $49,999.00 and is one of just 27,004 Corvettes made back in 1972.

The Chevrolet model is an iconic car

To prove just how powerful they actually are, many owners actually put the cars to the test in more ways than one.

One Corvette owner humiliated a Honda Civic driver in an unnecessary way during a Texas drag race.

In fact, one grandfather in Ohio was in disbelief after seeing his 1962 Corvette transformed when it was cleaned for the first time in 53 years.
