After rescuing an abandoned BMW M6 last year, this Kentucky man has been forced to return the vehicle.
The BMW series is quite a rarity in the US, despite its prevalence across Europe.
Despite that, one man found an abandoned and severely run-down BMW M6 in a quarry, primed to get turned around.
But after getting the car moving again and documenting it on YouTube, the original owner backed out of the sale, demanding that the car be returned to its grave.

Abandoned BMW M6 restoration in Kentucky gets demolished
YouTuber BradenBuildz got his hands on a terrible BMW M6, which had been left out in an open quarry for years, with its windows rolled down and just a tiny metal sheet for cover.
As you can imagine, it was in pretty bad shape.
Snakeskin was found all over the drowned interior, and the Kentucky man needed to perform miracles to even get the BMW M6 through his garage doors and into a somewhat drivable state.
Unfortunately, it appeared his dream for the car was short-lived.

The YouTuber created another video on his channel to update viewers on the BMW’s progress.
With the M6 now on the farm, fans could be forgiven for believing that he had good news, but alas, there was no happy ending here.
The Kentucky man revealed that the original owner saw his video and thought it was ‘offensive’.
Despite the car already being in his possession, the previous owner demanded it back.
Despite numerous new offers, the owner was standing firm that the abandoned car was no longer for sale.
This was after the work already done to make it move again.

So, in a sad ending to this car’s revival, the BMW M6 was dragged through sludge and mud to be dumped again.
It was a shame to see the car returned to its rotting nest, given its potential.
The Kentucky YouTuber believes it’ll likely stay in this spot forever.
What’s even more heartwrenching is that earlier this week we highlighted a classic 1987 BMW M6 getting restored after 25 years and the results were incredible.
