Just recently, Brooks Weisblat of DragTimes got the opportunity to drive a Lamborghini Revuelto. He went all out on the 1,001-horsepower supercar and showed its true 0-60 speed.

He performed the test on a public road, which is not a good condition to show the car’s real potential.

Despite that, the supercar performed quite well.

Lamborghini Revuelto

The Lamborghini Revuelto is the newest supercar from the Italian carmaker.

It is the successor to the Lamborghini Aventador and the first car from the brand to adopt a true plug-in hybrid propulsion system.

It can be argued that Lamborghini has created the most powerful plug-in hybrid.

While cars like Sián FKP 37 and Countach LPI 800-4 had featured a mild form of a hybrid system, it was just to improve their low-speed drivability.

However, the Lamborghini Revuelto features a true form of a hybrid drivetrain.

Revuelto 0-60mph speed test

The new V12-powered Revuelto comes with a high six-figure price tag, even without modifications.

But don’t underestimate the car’s performance.

As seen from Weisblat’s recent test, the 1,001-horsepower Lamborghini Revuelto went from 0-60mph in 2.58 seconds.

Even with a foot of rollout and unfavorable conditions, that’s an impressive speed.

You can watch Weisblat checking out the launch options for the supercar right here.

Although the supercar performs surprisingly well for a hybrid, many Lamborghini fans would’ve liked a self-charging hybrid option too.

Despite that, the Lamborghini Revuelto is the first road-going Lamborghini to exceed 1,000 horsepower.

The Italian automaker is also offering many customization options for the supercar.

But you will have to pay quite a price if you want a fully customized Lamborghini Revuelto.

Brooks can also hardly wait for his very own Revuelto to be delivered in a matter of weeks.
