LeBron James is one of the greatest basketball stars of all time.

The Akron, Ohio, native is the NBA’s all-time leading points scorer, as well as a four-time champion.

‘King James’ also happens to be renowned for his luxurious taste in cars off the court.

And he was the epitome of cool when he was spotted driving his Porsche 918 Spyder in LA.

Today’s car story comes from one of the greatest NBA players to ever grace the court.

Back in 2003, LeBron was one of the most highly anticipated talents in the history of sport.

In fact, James was drafted straight out of high school into the NBA by his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers.

During his debut season, he became the first Cavalier player ever to win Rookie of the Year.

The first seven years of his career saw James absolutely light up the league, quickly becoming one of its biggest stars.

In 2010, James made one of the most controversial decisions in history when he joined the Miami Heat.

It was a decision that would pay off big, as he won two rings alongside Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

The “Big Three” would win back-to-back titles for the Heat in 2012 and 2013.

LeBron would ultimately move back to Cleveland in 2015, helping the franchise to glory.

In a legendary NBA Finals matchup with the Golden State Warriors, LeBron led Cleveland to its first NBA title.

2018 saw LeBron move to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he would win his fourth ring in 2020.

In a matchup against his former team, the Miami Heat, LeBron won a fourth ring during the COVID bubble period.

James’ longevity has seen him team up with his son, Bronny James, on the court for the Lakers.

LeBron’s Lakers crashed out in the first round of the playoffs this year, losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Ironically, today’s story comes from a video from 2020 – when James won his ring with the Lakers.

He was spotted on the highway in Los Angeles driving a Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid hypercar.

The legendary hypercar was limited to 918 units of production by the German marque.

LeBron is known for having an incredible car collection, but the 918 is the jewel in King James’s crown.

In the video, James is spotted sporting a mask and sunglasses – perhaps trying to stay anonymous.

However, driving a Porsche 918 Spyder is one certified way of getting noticed on the roads.
