This Chinese EV is a luxurious answer to a Rolls-Royce, and it comes complete with a massive 40-inch projector screen at the rear.

Chinese cars, in particular EVs, have been getting better and better over recent years, and this amazing Maextro S800 luxury sedan clearly drew inspiration from Rolls-Royce and Maybach.

While its electric powertrain is certainly a highlight, so are the incredible luxury features, such as the massive screen and premium materials.

Not even a Rolls-Royce Phantom can boast of having a huge screen in the rear of the car.

The price of the Chinese EV is quite compelling

One thing that stands out instantly is the price of this car. The Maextro S800 EV will set customers back between $100,000 and $150,000.

That is a huge bargain compared to cars from Bentley, Rolls, Maybach, and more.

In terms of the aesthetics, it’s easy to see where the inspiration has come from.

The two-tone paint finish is distinctly Maybach, as is the long silhouette of the car.

Looking at the 21-inch wheels, it’s easy to see that these are a direct copy of those on the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Even the floating hub caps have been included.

There is also some supercar influence, thanks to the starry pattern on the headlights and taillights, something you’d normally find on the Koenigsegg Regera supercar.

The big screen is the highlight of the Maextro S800 interior

The stand-out feature, however, has to be the huge projector screen inside the car.

This is a Huawei-sourced screen, measuring 40 inches, and with a 43-speaker audio system, bringing an immersive experience to the ultra-luxe sedan.

Other inspiration has been taken from Western cars inside the cabin of the S800.

The steering wheel, for example, looks like it came straight off a Bentley.

Look up, and you can see Starlight headliner, again inspired by Rolls-Royce.

Other features include the doors closing automatically when you get inside and depress the brake pedal.

Under the hood, there are three versions.

You have a fully-electric model with a 97kWh battery and 523hp.

But there are also two range-extender models, using a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The main powertrains are a 523hp dual-motor or 848hp tri-motor.

While we have seen many Chinese luxury cars over the years, the Maextro S800 takes things to a new level.
