The Maextro S800 is a dead-ringer for the Maybach, and is packed with luxe features, including a Huawei projector screen, 43-speaker sound system, and refrigerator.

Maextro is a joint venture between carmaker JAC Motors and Huawei, founded last year.

And the new brand’s flagship EV sedan is set to give the likes of Rolls-Royce and Mercedes a run for their money in the luxury stakes.

Alongside its good looks, the Maextro S800 boasts a tech-filled spacious interior, and an impressive range.

The Maybach-lookalike comes with some very cool features

glance, the Maextro S800 looks quite a lot like the iconic Mercedes Maybach S-Class, in part due to its slick two-tone exterior paintwork.

However, while the Maybach has a price tag that can top $300,000, the Maextro S800 has a much lower starting price of under $100,000

The EV doesn’t just take style cues from the Maybach, though, other elements such as its wheels and starlight headliner are similar to what you’d find on a Rolls-Royce.

The Maextro S800 will be offered as either a standard all-electric, with around 420 miles of range, or as an extended-range EV, with more than 700 miles per charge.

It EV supports fast-charging, and can go from 10 percent battery to 80 percent in just over 10 minutes.

Inside, the S800 is about as luxurious as you can get.

The spacious cabin features wooden elements, alongside a 43-speaker premium sound system and doors that close automatically, as if by magic.

Not only that, but you can pretty much transform the rear of the interior into a traveling cinema, thanks to a 40-inch Huawei projector that projects onto a screen that forms a partition between the front and back seats.

To make it as similar as a trip to the movies as possible, the rear also comes with handy blinds to block out any light, and optional noise cancellation.

There’s even a fridge to store drinks and snacks – what more could you ask for?

Maextro has received thousands of orders for the car

Maextro first went public with the S800 in May 2024, and it wasn’t long before orders began to flood in.

According to the carmaker, it received 1,000 orders within an hour, and by the end of the day it had pulled in more than 1,600.

After orders were open for just one month, more than 6,500 Maextro S800s had been reserved.
