Little-known Malaysian car company Bufori has just unveiled its supercharged V8 CS8 sports car, and it looks incredible.
Australian-Malaysian Bufori has been creating hand-built cars since 1986.
Its vehicles are largely inspired by American coupes from the 1930s.
But now the company has just unveiled its first-ever sports car.

When you think of a supercharged Hemi V8, your mind probably goes to Dodge and cars like the Duarango or the SRT Hellcat.
But now Malaysian car company Bufori has unveiled its brand-new CS8 that packs a supercharged Hemi V8 into a carbon-Kevlar monocoque.

“The Bufori CS8 redefines the essence of an Ultra High Performance Grand Tourer, a bold fusion of handcrafted luxury, advanced engineering, and exhilarating performance,” the company said.
“Destined to stand as a symbol of individuality and innovation, it is more than a sports car; it is an icon in the making.”
The car has been a decade in the making and is based on a prototype that debuted in 2019.
Bufori has opted for a 6.4 liter engine, as opposed to the more common 6.2 liter option, which means it can produce up to 810 horsepower and 718 pound-feet of torque.
The Malaysian car company says all that power means the CS8 can do 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 3 seconds flat, and gives it a top speed limited to 205mph (330km/h).
If that engine seems a little too powerful, there are three other engine options: a supercharged 3.6 liter V6 offering 455hp; a naturally aspirated V6, which has 320hp; and a twin-turbo 3.0 liter straight-six with 550hp.

Each CS8 is hand-built and takes around 9,000 hours to complete, and customers are able to choose from a near-limitless range of paint colors and trim materials to make each car unique.
How much does the Bufori CS8 cost?
The Malaysian car company has so far only launched the CS8 in Malaysia, and its unclear if the carmaker has plans to bring it to the US or European markets.
However, if you did want to get your hands on one you’ll need deep pockets.
The CS8 has a starting price point of RM 2.188m, which is a little under $520,000, and that’s before customization options.
