This YouTuber found a huge junkyard in Michigan full of abandoned muscle cars.
Some of these cars are dead and buried, sometimes literally as they’re completely covered in weeds and fallen tree branches and twigs.
But some of these cars could potentially be salvaged.
And you’ll never guess where the rarest car here was ‘parked’.

How this rare muscle car ended up parked in the most incredible place
Ryan Brutt, the guy behind the Auto Archaeology YouTube channel, found a huge junkyard in Michigan with some pretty iconic muscle cars.
We spotted a 1966 Pontiac GTO and a 1968 Mercury Cougar.
Among others, we also saw a Chrysler Conquest an even an International Harvester pick-up truck.

Then there’s the rarest and potentially most valuable car here, a 1969 Mustang Mach 1, which was parked… on top of a bus.
Now, how the heck did it even end up there?
And the crazy part is this isn’t even the only muscle car parked on a bus because there was more than one.

Why so many YouTubers end up finding abandoned muscle cars
Finding abandoned cars is easy because it happens a lot more frequently than we think.
There are several reasons why that’s the case.
Sometimes, it’s just collateral damage to a disaster, like cars abandoned in Fukushima or Chernobyl.
On other occasions, it’s because the original owner died with no heirs or with heirs that don’t care about cars.

And on so many occasions, these cars are bought by collectors who either can’t find the time or the money to fix them, so they just end up rotting away, or the end up for sale, which is what happened here.
