This gearhead was given the ultimate challenge to transform a bumper car with a motor in a super-tight time frame.
After having fond childhood memories of the bumper car fairground ride, he wanted one to call his own.
But after a theme park saw his previous work online, he was given just 10 days to create a masterpiece for a commercial.
The result may even inspire you to try your hand at DIY thanks to the impressive outcome.

Get ready to see a bumper car like you’ve never seen one before
Most of us have fond childhood memories of visiting carnivals, fairs, and festivals and riding on the bumper cars.
Well, get ready to see one like never before, as one Facebook Marketplace find ended up stealing the spotlight, but more on that later.

YouTube creator Critical is no stranger to putting his all into a project, and this time it was no different.
You see, he found a bumper car listed on Facebook Marketplace and decided to snap it up before he was given the ultimate challenge.
Plus, after reviewing home video footage, the creator realized that it looked remarkably similar to one that he drove as a kid.
He initially planned to motor swap the vehicle, but after a company got in touch and wanted it for a special purpose, he had just 10 days to get it fully fitted and functioning.
But, as the saying goes, pressure makes diamonds, and his friend Tadeu also helped, so the creators then planned to split the money.
It was no easy feat, though, as the bumper car initially weighed more than 400kg, so some parts needed to be cut away, and the height had to be right to still give the car a bumper car look, just with a different chassis.
Next, it was time to take out the parts that weren’t needed anymore to make sure that the new parts would fit.
The guys then replaced the rear sprocket and hub before laying out the motor and other parts.

More welding and wiring, and even a throttle-to-pedal conversion, took place before the floor and towing rig took their seats.
“It was pretty fast,” exclaimed the creator as he took it for his first spin.
The outcome? A genius feature in a Halloween advert
Once the clever project was complete, the creator sent off his masterpiece to be featured in a Halloween-inspired advert for theme park Gröna Lund in Sweden.
The advert captured the bumper car in all its glory and in full working order, which you can watch for yourself at the top of the page.
You have to admit, all that work being completed in just a mere 10 days is impressive.
Now the only question left to ask is, what will Critical create next?
