After stripping this 1991 Toyota down to its bare bones, this expert craftsman has crafted a modern-day DIY supercar from its seed, and the details are impressive.
Only a minor percentage of cars ever get to live the life of luxury.
And if you’re a dusty and smashed-up 1991 Toyota, the dreams of living the high life are almost non-existent.
But this one banger has been given a massive glow-up, being transformed into a DIY supercar, full of expert details.

This DIY supercar has a wild past
Koenigsegg, the Swedish manufacturer behind the most powerful supercars on the market, is officially all sold out.
But it’s not all bad news, as it seems you can just make them yourself.
That’s the spirit adopted by NHẾT TV, as the YouTube channel has crafted its own.

But, instead of splashing millions on its creation, this homemade Jesko is actually a DIY supercar built off the back of a 1991 Toyota.
Yes, a 1991 Toyota.
The build originally started with the engine of an old banger that they purchased for $100.

But, aside from that, the DIY supercar is handcrafted.
The steel framework was taken from the blueprints of the Jesko, and the bodywork was made from eco materials warped on clay models.
But it’s the details that are the best part of this car.

The finer details make it a modern success story
Many custom-built cars often miss the mark of their intended replica models, especially with the interior and the doors.
But not this project.
The DIY supercar was meticulously made to replicate everything the Jesko has to offer, down to the winged doors.

Difficult as they are to build, the team crafted special hinges that allowed the doors to swing open at a 90-degree angle.
Then, there’s the sky blue interior, which matches the energy of the colorful bodywork.
Fresh racing seats and a comfy blue leather that stretches throughout the interior really set this apart as one of the best custom projects yet.

The only flaw is now the Toyota heartbeat, which creates laughable power compared to the Jesko.
But maybe it could be improved with a motor or two to become the first electric Koenigsegg, even if it is a DIY supercar,
