What happens when you bring a group of car YouTubers together at a race track?
Well, the only natural thing is race, and that’s exactly what happened.
This unofficial race was organized by YouTuber Mat Armstrong, who raced a Porsche GT3RS that he rebuilt after it was previously wrecked.
It all took place in Donnington Park, a motorsport circuit in Leicestershire, England, and it was pretty epic.

YouTuber Mr JWW shared his experience in a recent video, in which he revealed his car of choice was the world’s first Ora Alba Lamborghini Revuelto.
Before the race started, the group spent some time warming up on the track.

The rules were simple, one lap around Donnington Park, with the fastest time being crowned the winner.
First up was YouTuber Nico Leonard, who decided not to bring a supercar, opting for a Mercedes C-Class 1500 instead.
Unfortunately, he didn’t do too well, netting a lap-time of 2:06.00.

However, since he went first, he did technically lead the pack for a few fleeting minutes.
Mat Armstrong’s dad went next in a Ferrari F430, edging out the Mercedes with a time of 2:00.20.
This went on for a while, until it was Armstrong’s turn in his Porsche GT3RS, which he previously rebuilt in 24 hours.
It was a particularly exciting moment, given that this particular Porsche cost a fraction of the amount of some of its competitors, given that it was previously wrecked.

However, the machine proved its worth when Armstrong blitzed past the finish line, netting himself a time of 1:40.30.
Then it was the Lamborghini Revuelto‘s turn.
Despite its hefty price tag, it only managed to beat the rebuilt Porsche by the tiniest of margins, with a timing of 1:40.02.

The ultimate winner was actually a Ferrari SF90 Stradale, driven by YouTuber Mark McCann.
His lap-time? A blisteringly fast 1:37.95.
Considering that the the official lap record set by a road-legal production car was 1:30.50, set by legendary driver Bruno Senna in a McLaren Senna, this was a shockingly good result.
