This man unboxed a $1,500 electric sportsbike that took six months to be shipped to the US from China.

YouTuber The Inja bought the motorcycle from Alibaba and waited a long time to get his hands on it.

Although he was ecstatic to have the cardboard box sitting on his driveway, he acknowledged that it’d been a laborious process to get to that point.

But still, the big reveal would be worth every second.

If cars aren’t quite your thing, motorbikes are always a solid alternative.

It’s a great feeling to unbox one after waiting a long time for it to be delivered.

One Pennsylvania YouTuber knew that feeling all too well after ordering in a container from China.

A common theme tends to be that enthusiasts like buying their bikes in bulk.

One mechanic secured 16 for $5,000, while a guy down in Nashville picked up 14 at auction.

But for YouTuber The Inja, it was just one bike he was after.

He just had a big job getting it.

“Do not make a rash decision [in buying one], sleep on it,” he urged his subscribers.

“I’ll warn you in advance, it’s hard to get one of these things.”

The $1,500 bike itself came in matte black and looked seriously cool.

Part of it had gotten scuffed in the shipping process, but the Inja brushed that off.

“It’s like my birthday already, it’s like Christmas morning,” he gushed.

In an additional video, he explained more about the purchasing process.

He revealed that he saved a ton of money by having it delivered to the port in San Francisco, rather than directly to his house. Which also saved any, ahem, mishaps, unlike this poor delivery guy dropping off a Ferrari Daytona.

Delivery to his house would have set him back $3,000.

In the end, he paid $1,520 for the bike and $180 for the shipping, taking the final price to $1,700.

Pretty good deal on the whole.

However, additional fees soon reared their head – $425 for storage fees at the port warehouse and an additional $80 to get the bike through customs.

Hiring a customs broker also ate up a lot of money.

It just goes to show that there’s always some strings attached.

If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Yet, he had his awesome sportsbike, so we can safely file this under the ‘Wins’ category.
