After locating them online, he went to search for them in person and faced the challenge of getting to the spots he’d located.
The terrain was rocky and dangerous, with him battling to try and find the old crashed cars.
But, after persevering, he managed to see some cars that had ended up in a bad way.

Tech company Google has had a lot of handy uses within the automotive industry.
It has even created tech that won’t let you drive if it thinks you’re bad at it.
Plus, an isolated runway in the middle of a South American jungle, spotted thanks to Google Maps, left people bewildered.
But, one guy managed to use Google’s technology and services in a very clever way – to find old abandoned cars.
YouTuber Reverse Rocket TV used Google Earth to find old crashed cars, and then went to the sites he explored online to find his discoveries in person.
“I found it just from zooming,” he explained when talking about one of the cars, and even described being able to look for cars from home as being a ‘game changer’.
The first car he managed to source was a state.

“This car looks like it’s been here forever,” he quipped.
“From here, I’m going to say a Cadillac,” he explained as he edged closer to the discovery.
When he got to the car, it was rusted over and covered in rocks, and the engine was actually still in it – it was obvious that the vehicle was in a bad way.
It was full of dirt and rubble, and the plastic had also melted on the wheel.
After he explored the area more closely, he also came across a few other vehicles lying low in the rocky terrain.
He next spotted a red Toyota that was covered in paint with an engine beside it. It was clear to see that people had previously been to the site and attempted to strip it down.

Thanks to Google Earth, he also found a few more autos, including a Chevy lurking within the bushes – so all in all, it was a successful day, even though he’d faced some challenges.

You can take a look at the exploring action below – but would you dare to be as brave and search in this way too?
