Supercar mogul and collector icon Manny Khoshbin sold his bespoke McLaren Speedtail Hermes Edition after claiming that the incredible spec isn’t quite to his liking.
The McLaren Speedtail in his hands was a one-off collaboration with Hermes.
But the bespoke supercar lags behind others in his portfolio.
So, after receiving an offer that he couldn’t let pass, the McLaren Speedtail is being hauled off to make way for new ventures.

Manny Khoshbin sells one-off Hermes-designed McLaren Speedtail
Khoshbin really doesn’t mess around when it comes to supercars. The business mogul built a real estate empire and has since collected one of the best arrays of cars ever.
Currently, his garage is graced with one of just two Bugatti Bolide models that have landed in the US. That’s alongside an all-white Rolls-Royce lineup and an equally bright Bugatti Chiron.
But one car that has left his ownership is this McLaren Speedtail Hermes Edition. He let it go after getting an offer that he ‘could not refuse.’

The Speedtail was the 24th of 106 made by McLaren. Khoshbin specifically chose this $2.5 million supercar to honor Charles-Émile Hermès, who moved Hermes to 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
After purchase, the car was sent off to Hermes for complete interior customization.
The fashion brand etched its signature brown leather into the dash, seats, floor, and steering wheel, before dropping into a beautiful creamy-white accent.
But ultimately, the car proved troublesome for Khoshbin and the McLaren is now off to Japan after being sold.

“It just didn’t do it for me under the hood. The V8 Hybrid had a lot of challenges with the wireless charger, although this was fixed in the end.
“Just, every time I walked past the car it didn’t get me excited to get behind the wheel. As thrilling as it looks, it just didn’t have the soul, like the P1,” Khoshbin explained.
The McLaren Speedtail is making way for new cars arriving in his collection soon.
Hermes shouldn’t be too hurt though, as Khoshbin still has his Chiron and a one-off Pagani Huayra which were also decked out by the fashionistas.
