Mansory has teamed up with a pop artist to hand-paint 10 one-off Mercedes G-Class SUVs.

The usual sleek, minimal look of the Mercedes SUV is a thing of the past thanks to this unique collaboration.

Pop artist Alec Monopoly has given both the exterior and interior a new lease of life.

But, fewer than a dozen will be made, so gearheads need to be quick to secure one.

Mansory is known for its impressive collaborations.

From Bentley to Ferrari, there have been some impressive and memorable creations.

For example, Mansory’s Rolls-Royce Wraith literally looked like a billionaire spilled gold on it.

Plus the company also recently made an all-new, one-of-one Rolls-Royce Cullinan for the Dubai Police – the second time they have collaborated.

But this new partnership is something for the history books.

Mansory recently unveiled a new collaboration with Mercedes and pop artist Alec Monopoly.

Monopoly has brought the G-Class to life like no other designer before.

“Monopoly will hand-paint each car individually in his signature design language, ensuring that each example is not only limited in principle, but also undergoes a refined ‘one of one’,” Mansory said.

“The body, which was artfully painted over several days, is then sealed with a special clear coat, providing optimal protection against environmental influences and UV radiation.”

The collaboration is available in a variety of colors and features a four-liter V8 engine, capable of producing a substantial amount of horsepower.

The ‘Art Piece – AL3C MONO907Y – “lacks a third side window due to its shortened wheelbase, allowing the shortened rear doors (C-pillar) to directly transition to the fabric roof,” Mansory explained.

Plus, the inside can be ‘freely chosen in terms of color, type of leather used, quilting of the leather surfaces, and design of the carbon fiber parts’.

Of course, it also has some classic Mansory touches, too, with seatbelts and pedals displaying the logo.

All in all, the special collaboration has been described as ‘a very special vehicle that masterfully implements individual customer wishes in every respect, even in the interior’.

You can take a look at the collaboration below.
