This massive six-wheeled Ford RV has been living in Tokyo for more than a decade and it’s still going strong.

This is a Revcon Trailblazer, and only 70 of these behemoths were ever made.

Built back in the 1990s, they came with either a 460-cubic-inch gas V8 or a 7.3-liter diesel.

But whatever hardware they’re working with, there’s one thing that’s for certain – these things can certainly turn a few heads their way.

The massive Ford RV that’s been roaming the streets of Tokyo for a decade

This isn’t the first time a vehicle has left people scratching their heads.

Cars have a habit of turning up in unexpected places.

For years, people wanted to know the backstory behind a famous pink McLaren that sat outside a London hotel.

And then there was the graffiti-covered Cybertruck, left abandoned in LA for weeks.

When we see a car in a place that we wouldn’t usually expect it to be, we’re naturally going to have questions.

And this Ford F-350 RV is no exception.

Why does it feel so out of place in Japan?

Let’s be honest, when you think of big cars, your mind doesn’t automatically go to Japan does it?

Japan is renowned for exceptionally good car etiquette, but if we’re being honest, humongous trucks are more of an American specialty.

And this humungous RV is quite a sight to behold.

A shot of the the Trailblazer was shared to a Facebook group for Ford 7.3L Powerstroke Owners.

“Was wandering around the back streets of Tokyo Japan yesterday and look what I stumbled upon. What are the odds. 1 of 70 or so built I believe.

“Thought about knocking on the door but with a rig like that figured he might be the only gun owner in Japan,” Zachary Clayton, who shared the original shot, wrote.

From there, other group members began sharing their own shots of the truck that they took while visiting the Land of the Rising Sun.

Some found shots of the Revcon on Google Earth, as it’s been parked in the same spot since November 2009.

What did people make of this Revcon Trailblazer?

The comments of the post were filled with admiration and amusement in equal measure.

“Holy s**t that is a crazy rig for Japan,” one person remarked.

“That has to be fun to drive around there. The streets get pretty narrow,” another added.

We don’t know about you, but we’d love to know the backstory of this RV. How did it get to Tokyo? What’s inside?

And do they have a tough time finding parking?
