A man spent hours creating a Mercedes G63 entirely out of wood – and it looks absolutely incredible.
YouTuber ND – Woodworking Art regularly creates spectacular pieces made of wood, but I reckon this could be his best work yet.
Not least, because the wooden body is built over a Mitsubishi Pajero meaning the ‘Merc’ is fully drivable. Does anyone else really, really want a go of this?

In the clip, he starts with the Pajero chassis which he strips right down to its bare bones. He then created a steel frame – by hand no less – designed to match the dimensions of a Mercedes G63 and welded it to the chassis.
Once in place, he set about painting the whole thing black before mounting the hand-crafted wooden panels to completely transform the car.
And the Vietnamese-based YouTuber didn’t stop there – while the outside is a spot-on replica of a Mercedes G63, the inside is equally as impressive.
By the way, check out the full ND Woodworking Art channel here – there’s some mind-blowing stuff on there.
As well as door panels, dashboard, and air vents, he’s also made seats and a center console – all made of hand-carved wood, of course.
Because he used the Pajero base, the car also comes fully equipped with electronics, such as headlights and turn signals that – once again – he made himself. How cool is that?
As you can imagine, people have been left blown away by the YouTuber’s handiwork, with one person commenting: “This right here deserves to be in a museum.”
Someone else said: “This guy should be hired by Mercedes! This is a whole piece of art!”
While a third commented: “I’m just speechless this is the best G63 I’ve ever seen!”
I’ll second that.
In the past, the same man has built a fully functional wooden Cybertruck for $15,000 that caught the attention of Tesla boss Elon Musk.
Sharing a video of the car on X, he wrote: “I am aware that Tesla has faced its share of challenges in bringing the Cybertruck to fruition. However, I maintain unwavering faith in your vision and the capabilities of Tesla.
“I hope to have the honor of gifting this wooden Cybertruck to you and Tesla, to wish you and Tesla continued success and maintain your position in the international arena.”
Musk then responded, using just a few words as he is known to do.
“Sure, much appreciated,” he said.
The master woodworker has since gone on to craft himself a whole fleet of wooden supercars. Wood you believe it?
Sorry about that.
These include a Ferrari GTO 250 and a Ford F-150 Raptor, as well as a Rolls Royce 6×6 and a STRV TANK.
The man has almost too much talent.
