This middle-aged dentist says he bought a Tesla Cybertruck to cure his loneliness and it worked.

According to the US-based doctor, it actually ended up changing his life.

Steven Shao said he was too ‘old, tired, and cranky’ to care what his neighbors thought anymore, and so he took the plunge and bought what he described as ‘a giant fridge on wheels’.

He said the truck made people ‘snap their necks and glare’ and that’s exactly what he wanted.

Tesla Cybertruck fixed middle-aged dentist’s life problems

Meet Steven Shao, a dentist who also happens to be a tech enthusiast and a proud owner of the Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast Edition.

Shao recently shared his thoughts on the Tesla Cybertruck Owners Facebook group, where he told fellow owners to throw caution to the wind and do what they wanted.

“You worked hard, but your kids don’t want to hang out with you, your friends are too busy to visit. You are getting older every day, and your neck and back are complaining,” he said.

The answer to all these problems, according to him, was getting a man cave with a Batmobile.

Of course, he wasn’t talking about a real-life Batmobile like this one — he simply wanted to make a point.

In this situation, the Cybertruck was his modern-day Batmobile.

“Sometimes you just want to exit the parking lot by driving over the parking stops and sidewalk. Do you need 850hp in a 3-ton [fridge]?”

The philosophy in question

“The world is full of nonsense, so drive something that makes even less sense.”

He said the car changed his life because he was, simply put, so much happier now.

His Cybertruck looks stock and hasn’t had any visible mods like this all-out blackout wrap done to it, but it’s still an eye-catching beast.

Some people like this man are selling their Cybertrucks because they attract too much attention.

Shao, however, said he didn’t care what other people thought about his vehicle choice.

Now, he’s turning heads in one of the fastest, most unique trucks on the road today.

After all, the Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast Edition can be at 60mph from a standstill in just 2.6 seconds.

The 850-horsepower machine is super capable and can even beat legendary supercars in drag races.
