If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you put a monster truck in the water, meet the Argo Sasquatch XTX, a Canadian-made amphibious vehicle.

Unveiled by Ontario-based Argo, this wild machine is designed to go where roads, trails, and even solid ground simply don’t exist.

Frozen lakes, deep snow, thick mud, and floodwaters; none of it phases this towering all-terrain beast.

Think of it as a monster truck that you can use as a survival tool.

When the going gets tough, this truck just keeps going

The company has spent more than 60 years building amphibious off-road vehicles, but the Argo Sasquatch XTX is easily its most ambitious creation yet.

The company calls it a true all-terrain pickup alternative, and it’s not exaggerating.

Unlike conventional trucks that rely on traction and speed, the Sasquatch is engineered around flotation, stability, and relentless forward motion.

When the terrain gets tough, it doesn’t get stuck, unlike other trucks; it just keeps going.

Power comes from a 1.8-liter three-cylinder turbo-diesel engine sourced from Hyundai, producing 60 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque.

Those numbers may sound modest, but they’re perfectly suited for steady pulling power and low-speed precision.

An automatic transmission and electronic throttle control ensure smooth operation in technical conditions.

On land, the Sasquatch XTX tops out at about 25 mph, while in water it cruises at roughly 4 mph, floating effortlessly without any added equipment.

The real showstopper is its massive set of 71-inch XT328 tires.

These enormous low-pressure tires allow the amphibious vehicle to float and propel itself through water simply by spinning them.

On snow, mud, or soft ground, they spread the vehicle’s weight to prevent sinking.

Argo pairs them with a clever Terrain Control system that automatically adjusts tire pressure depending on whether you’re driving on snow, mud, trails, or open water.

No manual airing up or down is required, so you can just focus on driving.

This monster truck is not just for show

Despite its extreme focus, the Argo Sasquatch XTX is surprisingly practical.

It offers 26 inches of ground clearance, a payload capacity of 2,645 pounds, and towing capacity of 5,180 pounds.

Inside the crew cab, four adults ride in comfort with climate control, a 12-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth audio, and a 180-degree rear camera.

Out back, the FlexBox cargo bed and a 4,500-pound winch make it ready for real work.

Starting at around $190,000 and climbing past $250,000 when fully equipped, the Sasquatch XTX isn’t cheap.

But for emergency responders, industrial operators, and hardcore adventurers, this might just be the ultimate off-roading machine.
