Talk about hitting the jackpot – a Georgia man risked it all on a multi-millionaire’s abandoned storage container and ended up uncovering what he called ‘literal gold’.

The buyer paid $5,373 for the packed PODS container after spotting a few clues in the auction listing that made him think it could be hiding something huge.

What started as a hopeful gamble quickly turned into one of the wildest storage finds imaginable.

And when he finally started digging through the boxes, the value of what they uncovered skyrocketed far beyond the price he paid.

He risked it all on a multi-millionaire’s abandoned storage container

When this YouTuber decided to spend a little over $5,000 on a multi-millionaire’s abandoned storage container, he was expecting bundles of tech, Bearbrick collectibles, and sneakers as advertised.

The man behind the buy, Harrison, said he was intrigued by a few items he could already see in the auction listing, like Supreme skate decks, artwork, and Bearbrick collectibles.

Those clues made him believe the previous owner might have been a serious collector with expensive tastes.

But even with that hunch, spending more than $5,000 on an abandoned storage container was still a massive gamble.

When Harrison arrived at the PODS warehouse to collect the unit, the pressure was on immediately because he had a limited time to unload the entire container or risk losing a $350 deposit.

The moment the doors opened, it was clear the gamble might pay off, and the container was packed to the brim with boxes, designer packaging, and collectibles stacked from floor to ceiling.

He uncovered what he described as ‘literal gold’

As he began unloading everything, the surprises started piling up quickly.

He found luxury items, rare artwork, collectible bottles of liquor, and even a Virgil Off-White rug that Harrison estimated could be worth around $2,500 on its own.

Then came an unexpected box filled with colorful Takashi Murakami and KAWS plush collectibles, with dozens of cuddly toys packed tightly together.

Harrison immediately realized that the value of that single box could rival the price of the entire storage unit, but that was only the beginning.

Hidden deeper in the container was an enormous sneaker collection featuring Off-White Jordans, Chicago 1s, Travis Scott 4s, Yeezys, Common Projects, Balenciaga pairs, Gucci shoes, and many more.

The haul felt like a time capsule from peak sneaker culture, with many pairs appearing barely worn or completely brand new, but the ‘literal gold’ came in the form of shiny gold Jordans worth at least $400

On top of that, the team uncovered vintage vinyl records, designer furniture, more collectible art, and several high-end bottles of champagne and whiskey.

By the end of the video, the value counter had already climbed past $38,000.

And the craziest part was that they still hadn’t even opened half the boxes.
