This 1967 Ford Mustang has been stashed away in a parking lot for over a year, but now it’s on the hunt for a new home and it’s got plenty of interest.
Released in 1964, the Ford Mustang is a true automotive icon – so much so, it even got its own theme-park style attraction last year.
While the car is still in production today, there are plenty of folks who would rather get their hands on a classic model.
And this 1967 Mustang that has recently been put up for sale on eBay is a testament to that, after kicking off a bit of a bidding war.

The 1967 Ford Mustang is an all-original example
The 1967 Ford Mustang is finished in pale blue and is an all-original example, aside from an aftermarket carburetor.
According to its eBay listing, it’s been parked for around 18 months, and appears to have spent that time bumper-to-bumper with a bunch of other classic cars.

The seller doesn’t reveal why he’s parting with the car, but given how many other vehicles you can see in the photos, he won’t be short of projects to keep him occupied when the Mustang does go.
The Mustang is in good shape, with a solid body and no signs of rust, and the interior also looks to be in decent condition.
Although the seller notes that the tires have dry rot and will need to be replaced.
Under the hood, the Mustang has held onto its 289 V8 engine, paired with an automatic transmission.
The car has been parked for more than a year, but prior to that, the seller said it was running well with ‘no issues’.
In fact, he’s fairly confident it might even roar back into life with a ‘little bit of trying’.

The vintage vehicle is in need of some TLC, but it seems there’s plenty of people out there who would be happy to step up.

The vintage vehicle has attracted plenty of attention
The 1967 Ford Mustang was listed on eBay with no reserve, and it’s sure to sell, having attracted a flurry of bids.

At the time of writing, it had a total of 38 bids with the top one sitting at $34,100.
As well as the interested parties bidding, there are also 119 people ‘watching’ the auction, so things could get exciting the closer it gets to the hammer falling.
We love to see an overlooked classic car get a second chance, so here’s hoping whoever lands the top bid will give the Mustang the restoration it deserves.
