The latest iPhone is set to come with an exciting new Action button built into it.
The lead-up to Apple’s annual September conference is always rife with rumors and speculations, and this time is no different.
This year everyone is talking about the iPhone 15, which is set to be unveiled at the company’s Wonderlust event on September 12.

The iPhone 15 is set to be the priceiest yet.
But the tech giant claims the price tag will be worth it, with features like a periscope camera and a more durable titanium body.
And for anyone who’s cursed Apple’s ever-changing charging ports, iPhones will come with a USB-C port from now on.
One of the most exciting rumors, however, is about a new ‘action button’.
According to MacRumors, the button will “allow users to quickly access various functions and settings without necessarily unlocking the device or navigating to an app”.
The button is set to replace the ring/silent switch which has been a part of the iPhone design since 2007.
This new button will be similar to the Apple Watch Ultra’s Action button, which allows you to quickly access apps like Torch and Stopwatch.
The source on MacRumors states that the Action button will provide users with nine different options.
These will include shortcuts like writing a quick message or opening Spotify, and taking photos.
It will also provide an incredible new translation feature.
Apple says this will facilitate sreal-time conversation between people who speak different languages.
And to make up for the fact that Apple will remove the ring/ silent button, this feature will be built in to the action button too.
If Apple is to be believed, the action button sounds like it could save users a lot of time swiping through screens to find the app they’re looking for.
While the source seems pretty reliable we will only know for certain after next week’s Wonderlust event.
