It takes an incredible imagination to see a motorboat in a 5,000-liter plastic water tank.

However, content creator, Mustaquim Muhammad Hatta, had that vision.

The project got a lot of people talking online.

Plus there’s an underlying message about ‘sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment’ that he hopes will have an impact on future generations.

Water tank turned into a motorboat

YouTube channel, Smart Fox, shared the project, which saw the content creator build the innovative boat.

First, he cuts the massive water tank and thoroughly cleaned it.

For the boat’s frame, he used ironwood, a strong and rot-resistant material perfect for the base.

After measuring everything carefully, he cut the wooden parts needed to build the frame.

Then, once the wooden base was ready, Hatta trimmed the excess plastic from the tank.

He used waterproof adhesive to make sure the boat would stay dry and secure on the water.

The wooden parts and plastic were then joined together using nuts and bolts, with glue added for extra support.

After preparing the rear of the boat, he wrapped the plastic securely around the wooden frame, making sure it fit perfectly.

The boat’s rough structure was complete, and he then removed all the extra pieces of plastic.

The Boat worked perfectly

To finish the DIY motorboat, Hatta sanded it and applied an antiseptic coat to protect it from fungi and ensure its durability.

He also added wooden panels to the front for an aesthetic touch and painted the boat red on the outside and white on the inside.

To top it off, a motor was installed, turning the boat into a fully functioning water vessel.

Finally, it was time to test the boat, and it worked flawlessly, revealing how a simple idea can lead to an innovative creation.
