Snoop Dogg’s famous Cadillac landed some guys in hot water when they tried showing it to him in Paris.

Sam Hard of Hard Up Garage made it his mission to show the rapper the iconic car.

However, it didn’t exactly go to plan.

The backstory to Snoop Dogg’s iconic car

If you cast your mind back to 2007, you may recall how Snoop decided to turn up to the MTV Music Awards.

The rapper was sitting on the backrest of the 1966 Cadillac Deville Convertible, surrounded by beautiful women.

His car bounced to the beat of music playing.

It was one hell of a way to make an entrance.

Seventeen years on, Hard Up Garage went about returning it to its former glory.

When they found it rotting in a field, they knew it would take a lot of work.

In fact the interior was in such bad shape that it made somebody throw up.

Despite the ups and downs of the restoration process, Sam kept his eyes on the prize – the opportunity to reunite Snoop with his car at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

With a deadline on the horizon, the team worked their butts off to get the job done.

But getting to Paris was the easy part because things got very complicated fast.

How French Inhale nearly became ‘French In-Jail’

Snoop appeared at the Olympics to be on stage during the opening ceremony and to attend several competitions as a spectator.

The Cadillac traveled hrough the streets of Paris on a trailer, pulled by a Range Rover and Sam and his team soon became global news.

The Brits’ first encounter with the police occurred when they drove onto the Champs Elysees, a street reserved for pedestrians over the weekend.

However, the Parisian police assumed they worked for Snoop and waved them through.

They wouldn’t be so lucky the second time around.

The police were reportedly not too happy about the gathering crowds and the fact that Sam was riding in the car on the trailer.

They spoke with Sam for forty minutes, in a conversation that veered close towards the car being confiscated.

However, they made it out with everything in place.

It was time to go to Snoop’s hotel and wait outside.

However, there was no sign of the rapper and by midnight, they were still unsuccessful.

With a net worth of $160 million, it’s no wonder Snoop isn’t losing any sleep over this car, as he’s got plenty to choose from.

That’s despite confusion over an alleged free Tesla that never happened.
