Porsche is now making e-bikes with motors – and they are just as powerful as their car counterpart.

Instagram user geomar76, who reviews all things Porsche, took to the social media site to show his off.

His video montage shows him enjoying his bike along different terrains, including busy roads and country lanes.

What we know about the Porsche e-bike

In the description of his video, he listed off all the perks that came with riding the bike.

He wrote: “Porsche now makes an e-bike.

“This is the cross version. I took it all over town, testing it on the road and trail.

“I loved how easy it was to pedal, which is great for commuting or just having fun.

“Equipped with a powerful Shimano Steps EP-8 motor, Shimano battery with 504Wh capacity, assisted pedaling and a maximum torque of 85Nm, a mechanical Shimano XT 12 gear shift system, Magura-MT Trail high-performance brakes, hydraulically adjustable seat post, and full-suspension carbon frame.

“Range is approx 100km [ECO]/75km [TRAIL]/50km [BOOST]. The Shimano color display shows not only speed but also distance and range in real-time and more.

“The color is Ruby Star Neo.”

Other famous riders of the electric bike

It turns out that this Instagrammer isn’t the only fan of Porsche’s e-bikes.

Per reports, Robert Downey Jr was spotted riding one in March, when he was papped spending some time with his son, Indio, in Malibu.

The Iron Man actor and owner of a petting zoo was with his son, Indio, 30.

They were both riding $15,335 e-bikes.

Porsche first began making e-bikes in 2021 and promised to add more models to the line as time went by.

With how pricey they’re proving to be – with the cheapest coming out at $10,000 – you would probably need to be someone who could afford the four-wheeled Porsche.

Steve Jobs loved Porsche cars so much, he gave them to his employees.
