Porsche has set even more records after its recent trip to Road Atlanta, this time with the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.

The marque has been having a particularly exciting run in recent months, smashing all sorts of records.

During a recent trip to Road Atlanta to put the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT through its paces, the carmaker also brought along the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.

And both of them have now proudly set lap records of their own.

Porsche set lap records at Road Atlanta with three models

The carmaker took its ‘most powerful Porsche ever’, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT to Road Atlanta in June.

While there, racing driver Patrick Long clocked a time of just 1: 27.15 on the 2.54-mile track, setting a new record.

It managed to knock 6.73 seconds off the previous record, set by a Taycan Turbo S in 2020, when it completed a lap in 1:33.88.

But it turns out that the wasn’t the only Porsche to break a record that day.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid set a time of 1:30.98, beating the previous sedan lap record of 1:31.51 at Road Atlanta, which actually came from a 2021 Panamera Turbo S.

Meanwhile, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT set a benchmark for performance SUVs with a lap time of 1:34.38 minutes.

‟The Cayenne is so interesting because its full of contradictions about what a sports car can be,” driver Patrick Long said.

‟You have to remember that it’s a full-size SUV with a center of gravity and ride height to match, but it’s way more agile than you think, and the V8 sound, suspension calibration and sticky tires make the car so maneuverable and responsive.

Porsche is having a seriously impressive run

As well as the three records mentioned above, Porsche has also celebrated a new record on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife loop with its Taycan Turbo GT.

The Taycan Turbo managed an impressive 7:07.055 lap time, making it the fastest four-door production vehicle to take to the track.

The Porsche Taycan GTS has also set a new Guinness World Record after it drifted for a mind-boggling 17.503km (almost 11 miles) on ice.

And the upcoming Porsche Cayenne EV SUV recently pulled a sneaky one, breaking a Hillclimb record after it was entered into an event in secret.

The car was secretly entered into the category with no prior notice to the general public and took just 1.94 seconds to reach 60 feet.
