Get ready to see an RC F-35 as you’ve never seen it before, thanks to one clever creation.

The jet was shown off by one clever enthusiast whose sheer hard work made the plane soar to new heights.

Think landing gear, sharp turns, and a seamless take off, the VTOL was almost as good as the real deal.

In fact, an ex-Marine troop member who saw it couldn’t quite believe his eyes.

This RC F-35 is the only fully functional kind that is available

YouTube creator Jay Kujan is no stranger to looking out for impressive aircraft models, but this RC F-35 may just take the top spot.

Created by Eric Maglio, the jet is the only RC F-35 that is ‘fully functional’, as someone else allegedly created an RC that was able to transition into forward flight, but not able to transition back to hover.

Revealing the masterpiece on the YouTube channel, the RC F-35 was a VTOL, aka a vertical take-off and landing aircraft, with every single aspect crafted by Eric.

It came to life through 3D printing and foam magic.

But the wonder doesn’t stop there

The clever aviation fan even created a system to allow it and transition smoothly, giving the illusion of the real deal used by many in the air.

“It looks really neat when it’s flying,” said the plane’s creator, Eric.

The F-35 can move from hover to forward flight and then again to hover, all whilst moving seamlessly, even to 105 degrees, thanks to the clever nozzle and a three-bearing swivel module.

To show its real capabilities, the owner took it for a spin in the air, which even showed off the VTOL’s retractable flying gear.

We should note here that it has twice as many fans as a 70mm jet, so this really is something else.

Former marine left awestruck by the creation

After viewing the VTOL in all its glory online, one aviation fan simply couldn’t help but share his thoughts on the impressive jet.

The man in question revealed that he did 23 years of service with the Marines at MCAS-YUMA and used to watch the vertical take off from the line.

“That plane was incredibly LOUD with all the thrust from the vertical fans.

“I would NOT have believed a person could recreate a Harrier in an RC model. This is one of the most amazing RC plane videos I’ve ever seen,” commented the aviation fan.

It left others seriously impressed too, with Jason Kujan exclusively revealing to us that it is the ‘only complete package ever’.

You have to admit, it’s not something that you see every day.
