Reddit came together to guess Nikocado Avocado’s car

YouTuber Nikocado Avocado has gained infamy for his YouTube videos, but the car in which he filmed them was lesser known.

That is until a subreddit called ‘What is this car’ decided to investigate.

Nikocado, whose real name is Nicholas Perry, filmed videos of himself eating in his car for years.

His weight gain was a cause for concern, until he recently revealed he’d lost 250 pounds.

Could Reddit identify this YouTuber’s car?

Reddit user AidenTheCarRicer shared a snap of the infamous YouTuber sat in his car, and wrote: “What car does Nikocado Avocado drive?

“It sounds like a car that’s a wagon, and has an overhead console that’s on an american car. but the horn sounds Japanese.”

Redditors piled in with their theories.

Making reference to a video called ‘Breakdown in my car’, one user commented: “The kink in the rear-most portion of the rear door’s window/frame, it is shaped EXACTLY like a Dodge Grand caravan’s, it also has the same interior panel line location as the one on the video!

“The general shape of the windows all around are the same shape as a Caravan’s.”

Others offered up the Hyundai Entourage, Lancia Voyager, and Nissan Quest as theories, but the Dodge Grand Caravan seemed to be the most popular suggestion among the group.

This isn’t the first time that online users have been struggling to identify a mysterious car.

Why is Nikocado Avocado in the news recently?

Nikocado recently revealed his slimmed down appearance, after years of content in which he ate enormous amounts of food.

It has now been revealed that he’d been tricking his millions of subscribers for years.

Whilst sharing videos in which he gained more and more weight, he’d secretly been shedding the pounds behind the scenes.

The 32-year-old had built up a massive backlog of videos whilst embarking on a weight-loss journey in secret.

At his heaviest, he was 411Ibs, but now he weighs a 158Ibs.

Speaking to NBC News, he said: “I have been strategically posting pre-recorded videos for 2 years, on both YouTube and TikTok. I edited the videos so that they would appear recent, allowing me to focus on healing my body behind the scenes.

“I shaved my head so that people wouldn’t recognize me in public. A handful of fellow YouTubers also helped to keep my secret.”
