Shaquille O’Neal jumped out of his car to help a supercar driver park his McLaren, and the reason is super wholesome.
There’s no doubt that NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal — AKA Shaq — is a hardcore car guy.
So, it’s no real surprise he literally jumped out of his car to help a fellow supercar driver.
And now the driver of that McLaren is sharing his story.

How Shaq became an unintentional ‘valet’
In a recent podcast episode of Whozfire on YouTube with DJ Whoo Kid, Shaq shared the story of the time he ‘assisted a McLaren to safety’.
DJ Whoo Kid was driving the McLaren when he was apparently having some trouble getting the supercar into the parking lot.
That’s when Shaquille O’Neal stepped in and saved the day, escorting DJ Whoo Kid to a fitting parking spot.
“I want to give thanks too. One day, I was in Atlanta driving to a lounge, and I was in a McLaren. I was trying to pull up and park. I see this real tall dude get out of the car, and he helped me back it up,” DJ Whoo Kid said.
Shaq, being a car guy, said he didn’t want to see the McLaren get scratched or hurt, which is why he said he helped him park.
“You know why? It’s an expensive car. I don’t want him to ricochet out,” the NBA superstar said.
Now, it’s completely normal to have some anxiety while parking a supercar that costs well above six figures.
Could that possibly be one of the reasons several McLarens and other supercars lie abandoned in LA?
Although the DJ didn’t mention the make or model exactly, it ultimately remains a McLaren.
The upcoming McLaren W1 is almost here, by the way.
Shaquille O’Neal cared for the McLaren
Shaq has been making headlines lately for some of his new toys.
Only recently, the retired athlete bought a one-off Mercedes van.
He also got a trifecta of Cybertrucks, one of which was a custom carbon fiber make.
Cars aside, Shaq also has his own private jet for travel.
It’s the same private jet that left fans’ jaws on the floor with its maintenance bill.
