Shaquille O’Neal is a big name with an even bigger bank account, so it’s no wonder that even he forgot when he had two Escalades.

Yes, some people can have that much money.

The former NBA star was filmed receiving a delivery of a Cadillac Escalade IQ.

He was left visibly confused, as he’d genuinely forgotten he’d ordered one.

Shaquille O’Neal had forgotten that he now owned two Escalades

For most of us, buying a car is a big deal.

It could be the result of months – or even years – of saving.

But when you have a bank balance like Shaquille O’Neal, things may start seeming a little more casual.

So splashing some cash on two Cadillac Escalades might feel like buying a new pair of jeans.

As such, it won’t be front and center in your mind.

That’s what seems to have happened when Shaq ordered a customized Escalade from Effortless Motors, which also made his carbon fiber Cybertruck.

He’d previously ordered another Escalade IQ, but he said he was struggling to fit into that one.

Months after he put in the second order, the Effortless Motors guys showed up at his front door to make the delivery.

It took Shaq a few seconds to realize why they were there.

“Oh man. I bought an IQ? I forgot I had,” he exclaimed.

In a way, it’s a positive though – now the car is a nice surprise for him!

And seeing as how Effortless Motors had already done the work modifying the car to fit his tall frame, he had extra cause for celebration.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for Shaq’s car collection

It’s no secret that Shaq likes his cars – he has 40 of them, even though he can’t explain why.

While he urged his fans to be frugal with their cash, it’s safe to say that he has some wiggle room with expenses.

After all, this is the man who spent $1.3 million on three Rolls-Royces to get one over on a salesman who implied he couldn’t afford them.

When you have this many cars to choose from, you need some sort of system to ensure all vehicles get their fair share of Shaq time.

Fortunately, the 53-year-old has that covered, with a rather unorthodox approach.

Each to their own, we guess.
