In a bid to revive classic vehicles, this expert restorer traveled from Texas to California to uncover six Jeep CJs tucked away at the back of an LA dealership.
YouTube personality Dennis Collins has spent the better part of three decades under the hood of Jeeps.
His latest project saw him travel 1,200 miles across Western America to California.
But were these six untouched Jeep time capsules in LA worth leaving Texas for?

Texas is the perfect terrain to unlock the true potential of Jeeps.
However, California is home to some of the coolest cars, and was the only state to receive the new Jeep Gladiator Big Bear.
In this latest installment of his Coffee Walk series, Collins traveled from the Lone Star State to LA to rescue six classic Jeep CJs from a dealership.

Having contacted each other prior, Collins had settled on a price before seeing the cars in person.
When he arrived and saw the cars in person, he realized he’d struck quite the bargain.
The Jeeps were all in good condition, despite a lack of usage and upkeep, with no visible rust on the steel bodies.
Collins quickly identified most of the vehicles as ’70s and ’80s models and was particularly attracted to a rare limited version.
The pinnacle, ‘crazy-loaded’, and ‘super-rare’ Jeep was also kitted out in nutmeg leather which is almost unheard of.
Its story was even more intriguing, having originally hailed from Florida, meaning it crossed the entire country before landing in this LA garage.
“It’s the highest-option most-expensive CJ7 you could get [in 1982],” Collins said.
Other models included a Laredo, which was a beautiful relic in itself, a renegade, and a H-Code.
Were they worth the trip?

Each of the Jeep CJs was hand-rolled onto the lorry bed, ready for the trip back to Texas where they would either be restored or be ripped for parts.
It turns out the Jeep excursion was worth every mile of the trip, as Collins was stoked with the lineup of cars he was taking back to Texas.
Classic Jeep hauls are becoming increasingly fruitful with restoration experts finding a lot of joy in reviving these iconic vehicles in favor of buying the expensive futuristic pickups littered throughout America.
